This curriculum made me realize that our devotion time can be fun and not just something that we check off our list of things that we do everyday. You take the work out of it. I don’t have to put all that work into it. You just tell me what we do and we are right there with them, I’m with them. It literally was the highlight of the day. So, I love it. The program grew my children’s faith and made them happier. They are happy just to be sons of God. This is their new identity. This is something tha they can hold onto. My faith grew too. Honestly, I felt like evangelism is a little less scary. As I got excited about my kids talking to other people, I said wait a minute, “This could be a conversation piece that I can have in a playground with another mom and with her kids.”

Before enrolling in The Gospel According to STEM, my biggest challenge when teaching my son the gospel was moving beyond the sinner’s prayer. I was limited in my understanding and focused mostly on having him memorize scripture. From this course, we both gained the understanding that “God is love,” and the gospel makes us love too! We are now sons of God, and we can approach everything with love because Jesus is in our hearts. The songs in this program are so much fun! I still sing the songs. I also love the STEM projects that accompany each lesson. They are fun! Everyone should have it, it will change your life.

The Gospel According to STEM is not the watered-down gospel that so many other curriculums use. It teaches them big concepts, like Sanctification, that normally don’t get introduced into our curriruclums and I was excited by that. “What we learn in fun, we never forget.” I think that’s something that Dr. Harris definitely embodies. She incorporates fun using hands-on activities that really make the Gospel hit home.
